The Regional Schools Coordinating Committee is thrilled to announce an upcoming Baha’i school event in the Fraser Valley!
Date and Time: Friday, June 20th, 5:00 PM – Sunday, June 22nd, 9:00 PM
Location: Camp Whonnock (27660 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Maple Ridge, BC V2W 1Y9)
Theme: Building Vibrant Communities
Please note, registrations will close once we reach full capacity (160 participants) or by May 4th, whichever comes first.
Registration Fee:
The fee is generally non-refundable, except in cases of extenuating circumstances such as hospitalization or a death in your immediate family. If the event fully covers its costs, partial or full refunds may be offered for other situations. All children aged 0-4 can attend free of charge, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. However, they must still be registered on the form. A waiver form for registrants under the age of 18 attending without a parent will be emailed to the primary registrant which must be signed by a parent or guardian and sent back before attending the camp.
- Whole weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday):
- 5-10 years old: $100 per person
- 11+ years old: $150.00 per person
- Saturday only rate:
- 5-10 years old: $45.00 per person
- 11+ years old: $95.00 per person
- Sunday only rate:
- 5-10 years old: $45.00 per person
- 11+ years old: $95.00 per person
Accommodation:
There are two options for overnight accommodations at Camp Whonnock: cabins and tents. Cabins are shared, split by gender, and accommodate multiple guests. The tent spots are spread out in the forest area of the camp. The associated fee covers the entire duration of your stay.
- Cabin: $50.00 / bed
- Tents: $50.00 / tent
Food Policy:
We will provide some vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you have any other dietary concerns please bring your own supplementary meal and snack items.
